I saw there was a previous post about the oldest gyms in the state and their connection to the Kentucky High School Basketball Hall of Fame's Glory Road/Heritage Games project.

The project recognizes historic sites as the previous posts suggests, but it also is meant to recognize and honor those sites where "iconic teams played, great players performed, and communities gathered." https://khsbhf.com/glory-road-heritage-games/

This Friday will recognize the 1976 state championship team from Edmonson County at the Edmonson County gym. I'm making the trip from Atlanta for this one. If any of you are in the area and end up in attendance, please grab me and introduce yourself in person. I'll be easy to find.
