Blake was a heck of a Center. I played against him this past season. Out of all the centers i played against he was near the top.

I don't think Ashland will miss Mcdavid as much as they will miss their entire O line. Drew was an excellent player on both sides of the ball but I would put him maybe 3rd on who Ashland will miss the most.

Cov Cath will really miss Shane Popham as their kicker. Not only for all of the 40 and 50 + yd field goals, but almost every single kickoff in 2006 went for a touchback and the opponent never even got a chance to return it. HUGE weapon for a high school team.

I'm just stating my opinion. Didn't mean to be negative, just think there are were more important factors on last years team than Drew. I'm not putting down Drew's ability at all if thats what it sounds like. Drew is a great player on both sides of the ball, holds many records and will continue to be a playmaker.
