Lyon County (16-2): Following a loss to Walton-Verona on a neutral floor at Eastern Kentucky University's McBrayer Arena, Lyon County bounced back to beat Kentucky Country Day and Daviess County. Freshman Travis Perry is averaging a team-high 27.3 points per game for the Lyons. Lyon County is scheduled to face Murray (Feb. 22, home), Crittenden County (Feb. 23, home) and McCracken County (Feb. 27, away) in Week 8. 2. Webster County (14-4): The Trojans dropped a game to Graves County on Saturday, Feb 20. Continuing to pace Webster County, Destin Allen is averaging a team-high 17.2 points per game for the Trojans. Webster County has upcoming games scheduled versus Paducah Tilghman (Feb. 23, away), Madisonville-North Hopkins (Feb. 25, home) and Crittenden County (Feb. 26, away). 3. University Heights (5-6): The Blazers beat Crittenden County 61-54 on Saturday, Feb. 20 to notch a third straight win. University Heights has won four of its last five games. KJ Crump and DJ Quarles are each averaging over 18 points per game for the Blazers. University Heights is scheduled to meet McCracken County (Feb. 23, home) and Christian County (Feb. 25, away; Feb. 27, home) in Week 8. 4. Madisonville-North Hopkins (5-4): The Maroons dropped a game to Murray in the Marshall County Hoopfest on Saturday, Feb. 20. Among the top players in the 2nd Region, Kale Gaither is a averaging a team-high 20.1 points per game for the Maroons. Madisonville-North Hopkins is scheduled to face Owensboro (Feb. 22, home), Dawson Springs (Feb. 25, home), Webster County (Feb. 25, away), Hopkins County Central (Feb. 26, home) and Edmonson County (Feb. 27 at Butler County) this week. 5. Hopkinsville (2-2): The Tigers haven't played since January 26. Following an extended hiatus, Hopkinsville is scheduled to visit Caldwell County (Feb. 25) and McCracken County (Feb. 26) in Week 8. 6. Henderson County (6-8): Henderson County dropped a game to Owensboro Catholic on Saturday, Feb. 20. The Colonels are scheduled to host Evansville Christian (Feb. 22, home) and Paducah Tilghman (Feb. 26, home) for home games in Week 8. 7. Union County (10-6): The Braves pulled away to defeat Whitesville Trinity 74-56 on Saturday, Feb. 20. Union County has won six of its last eight games. The Braves are scheduled to battle Caldwell County (Feb. 22, home), Murray (Feb. 23, home), Trigg County (Feb. 25, away) and Marshall County (Feb. 26, away) in Week 8. 8. Crittenden County (6-5): The Rockets dropped a game to University Heights following a long layoff. Previously, Crittenden County had claimed back-to-back wins over McLean County and Hopkins County Central in late-January-early-February. Crittenden County is slated to meet Lyon County (Feb. 23, away), Webster County (Feb. 26, home) and Paducah Tilghman (Feb. 27, home) in Week 8. 9. Christian County (0-4): The Colonels are due back on the court for the first time since suffering a loss to Bowling Green on Tuesday, Feb. 2. Christian County has upcoming games scheduled against Greenwood (Feb. 23, away), Graves County (Feb. 25, away) and University Heights (Feb. 25, home; Feb. 27, away). 10. Trigg County (5-5): Following a lengthy layoff, Trigg County upended host St. Mary 54-50 on Saturday, Feb. 20. Trigg County competed in its first game since Tuesday, Jan. 26. The Wildcats have upcoming home games scheduled versus Livingston Central (Feb. 23) and Union County (Feb. 25). 11. Caldwell County (3-11): The Tigers dropped a game to Breckinridge County on Saturday, Feb. 20. Caldwell County is set to meet Union County (Feb. 22, away), Dawson Springs (Feb. 23, away), Hopkinsville (Feb. 25, home) and Dawson Springs (Feb. 27, home) in Week 8. 12. Livingston Central (2-11): The Cardinals haven't been in action since suffering a 30-point loss to Union County on February 5. Livingston Central has upcoming games scheduled versus Christian Fellowship (Feb. 22, home), Trigg County (Feb. 23, away), St. Mary (Feb. 25, home) and Hopkins County Central (Feb. 27, away). 13. Hopkins County Central (0-4): The Storm have been sidelined since February 3. Hopkins County Central is slated to meet Dawson Springs (Feb. 22, home), Todd County Central (Feb. 23, away), Madisonville-North Hopkins (Feb. 26, away) and Livingston Central (Feb. 27, home) in Week 8. 14. Dawson Springs (0-6): The Panthers have been sidelined since February 9.
