1. Johnson Central (11-1): Current 15th Region frontrunner Johnson Central is on an eight-game winning streak. The Golden Eagles claimed wins over crosstown rival Paintsville and Shelby Valley in Week 6. Johnson Central is shooting nearly 40 percent from 3-point range. Seniors Isaiah May (16.8 ppg), Cory VanHoose (16.2 ppg) and John King (10.8 ppg) continue to lead the Golden Eagles. Johnson Central is set to face Martin County (Feb. 18 away), Breathitt County (Feb. 19, home) and Phelps (Feb. 20 at Belfry) in Week 7. 
 
2. Pikeville (7-4): The Panthers suffered a two-point loss to 16th Region member Boyd County in Week 6. Junior Rylee Samons picked up a scholarship offer from Morehead State University and is averaging 23.4 points per game for the Panthers. Pikeville is scheduled to meet Magoffin County in the Mountain Schoolboy Classic at Belfry High school on Saturday, Feb. 20. 
 
3. Shelby Valley (8-4): The Wildcats pulled away to defeat Magoffin County before suffering a loss to Johnson Central in Week 6. Kaden Robinson (18.9 ppg) and Keian Worrix (16.2 ppg) are combining to average over 35 points per game for the Wildcats. Shelby Valley is poised to face Jenkins (Feb. 16, away), East Ridge (Feb. 18, away) and Prestonsburg (Feb. 20 at Belfry) in Week 7.
 
4. Martin County (5-6): The Cardinals pulled away to defeat 14th Region title contender Knott County Central 72-57 prior to falling to Magoffin County in Week 6. Martin County's Week 7 schedule includes games versus Phelps (Feb. 16, away), Johnson Central (Feb. 18, home) and Belfry (Feb. 19, away). 
 
5. Paintsville (5-5): The Tigers dropped a 57th District game to crosstown rival Johnson Central in Week 6. Paintsville is scheduled to meet Ashland Blazer (Feb. 16, home), Magoffin County (Feb. 19, away) and Belfry (Feb. 20, away) in Week 7. 
 
6. Betsy Layne (6-5): The Bobcats claimed back-to-back wins in Week 6, beating East Ridge and Pike County Central. Senior guard Jordan Frazier poured in 43 points as Betsy Layne toppled Pike County Central 90-65. Betsy Layne is slated to visit Floyd Central (Feb. 15), Hazard (Feb. 16) and Lawrence County (Feb. 20) in Week 7. 
 
7. East Ridge (6-7): Following a loss to Betsy Layne, East Ridge bounced back to defeat Pike County Central 80-76 in Week 6. The Warriors are scheduled to host Shelby Valley for a 59th District game on Thursday, Feb. 18. 
 
8. Belfry (5-7): The Pirates topped Prestonsburg prior to falling to reigning 14th Region champion Hazard in Week 6. Belfry has upcoming games scheduled versus Pike County Central (Feb. 16, away), Phelps (Feb. 17, home), Martin County (Feb. 19, home) and Paintsville (Feb. 20, home). 
 
9. Magoffin County (7-6): The Hornets split a pair of games in Week 6, falling to Shelby Valley before edging 57th District counterpart Martin County 66-64. Magoffin County is due to face Morgan County (Feb. 17, away), Paintsville (Feb. 19, home) and Pikeville (Feb. 20 at Belfry) during the week ahead.
 
10. Lawrence County (6-3): The Bulldogs claimed a pair of wins in Week 6, defeating Fairview and 58th District rival Floyd Central. Lawrence County has won three of its last four games. The Bulldogs are scheduled to face Greenup County (Feb. 15, away), Prestonsburg (Feb. 18, home) and Betsy Layne (Feb. 20, home) in the week ahead. 
 
11. Pike County Central (7-5): The Hawks compiled a 1-3 record in Week 6. After claiming a win over Cordia, Pike County Central dropped games to Betsy Layne, East Ridge and Knott County Central. Pike County Central is slated to meet Belfry (Feb. 16, home), Ligon (Feb. 17, home), Perry County Central (Feb. 19, away) and Whitley County (Feb. 20 at South Laurel) in Week 7.
 
12. Prestonsburg (4-6): Following back-to-back wins, Prestonsburg suffered a setback on the road at Belfry. Prestonsburg is slated to face Cordia (Feb. 16, home), Lawrence County (Feb. 18, away), Floyd Central (Feb. 19, home) and Shelby Valley (Feb. 20 at Belfry) in Week 7.
 
13. Floyd Central (4-7): The Jaguars won two of three games in Week 6, notching wins over Powell County and Phelps. However, Floyd Central dropped a 58th District game to Lawrence County. Floyd Central has upcoming games scheduled versus Betsy Layne (Feb. 15, home), Letcher County Central (Feb. 16, away), Prestonsburg (Feb. 19, away) and Powell County (Feb. 20, away).  
 
14. Phelps (1-10): The Hornets came up short as visiting Floyd Central held on to win 74-73 in overtime on Saturday, Feb. 13. Phelps has upcoming games scheduled versus Martin County (Feb. 16, home), Belfry (Feb. 17, away) and Johnson Central (Feb. 20 at Belfry).
 
15. Jenkins (1-4): Following a lengthy layoff, Jenkins dropped a game to former 14th Region rival June Buchanan on Tuesday, Feb. 9. The Cavaliers are scheduled to host Shelby Valley (Feb. 16), Letcher County Central (Feb. 18) and Lynn Camp (Feb. 20) in upcoming games.
