theguru
THIS IS A PAID ADVERTISEMENT For those of you who are students at NorthernKentuckyUniversity or have the ability to take courses at NKU, a two hour elective on Officiating Football is being offered in the spring semester beginning in January. The class is PHE 299 02 and is on Tuesday from 4:30 p.m. to 6:30 p.m. The class would have you better prepared to begin officiating football in the fall of 2007, however the class is open to anyone who is interested and it is not a requirement that one begins officiating. Here is the course description: This course will provide the student with the knowledge and expertise necessary to officiate interscholastic football. It includes the basic fundamental skills on officiating as well as the National Federation rules and mechanics of Kentucky High School Athletic Association and the Northern Kentucky Officials Association. The course is designed so the student will be able to: a.) demonstrate knowledge of the official rules of National federation football rules; b.) demonstrate knowledge of correct officiating techniques and mechanics in football; and c.) pass official certification tests and begin officiating football. NHS BIG DADDY
Is a book required for this class? I'd also like to know. Buying books sucks. Maybe FB could pass around free rulebooks and that be it.
FBRULES
There will be two books that will be purchased in house---the rules book and another book which helps to explain them. Total cost for the books will be about seven bucks.

FBRULES
I wish I could. You all need to get registered and get some friends, too, so we have enough to make the class go. PM if you have any questions about it.
