Any info on the Louisville All-Star game 11/24?

This is one of the dumbest moves I have ever heard (other than moving X to the East where the players have no relations). Male just has too much talent to ignor, plus, of all the public schools, they have the best following.

This game should be very fun. We had our second practice today at the westside, and things have a very high upside.

I'm not sure I would play if I were him, he could get hurt. It would be fun but what if he tore his ACL that would not be good being he already has offers.

Yes, he's high profile, but I know some of the other kids playing in this game have either high interest from schools or offers as well. They are all taking some degree of risk to play in this game. But, it's his own choie as to play or not. I did hear he has another option for how to spend his day.

That just opens up an opportunity for some other young man to have a big day and help himself on the college scene.

Vic Anderson showed up for the meeting but could not play b/c he will be out of town. Seemed like a great person. Yes he would be fun to watch. But so will Detrick Briggs from Southern and Seth Gordon from South Oldham (both great running backs).

Wow! How would you like to coach a team with that kind of talent in the regular season? Joe Gamsky from South Oldham and Brandon Smith from Waggener are two of the best defensive players I have seen this season. Nick Miles from Bullit East is a terrific kicker.

 

Does anyone have the West roster?

 

Will there be college scouts at this game? This will be a great opportunity for the kids who don't play for some of the higher profile teams in the area to get some exposure.

 

Good luck to the kids and the coaches...it ought to be a great game!

Was this a Male decision or an organizers' decision? To not let a number of players of the caliber of the ones on Male's team not play when their season is over seems like a real screw-up! :confused: :eek:

Just got word that Male's players do not get to participate in the All Star game this Friday.

 

Male's players do not play based on the lack of communication from THEIR head coach. Every 1st team all-district player is guaranteed a spot on the roster. I would call Coach Redman himself and ask this question. If Male doesn't have any kids playing I would hope that he can tell you why. Trust me, the reason is NOT that they are not allowed.
