Final

The Tigers had their physicality tested and responded in a positive way.

Emanuel Taylor had a 63 yard TD run for Hoptown and also a 84 yard KO return that set up the Tigers 1st score.

Chris Thomas ran for a TD and threw a 40 yard TD pass to Antwain Loving. Loving had 4 catches on the night including a big 18 yard pick up with the Tigers backed up at their own goal line in the 1st half. Loving also had an interception and returned it 40 yards.

The Tigers defense pitched a shutout with Madisonville getting their only score of the night on a 40 yard fumble return. Madisonville had 3 other opportunites to score. Once after Hoptown did an on-side kick that went out of bounds it gave Madisonville field position but 2 sacks by Gabe Ladson sent them in another direction. Their other scoring opportunity came in the

4th quarter when they went to the pass. They were helped on this drive by Hoptown getting called for 2 penalties. In the 1st quarter Madisonville recovered 1 of 2 Hoptown fumbles but missed a long FG attempt.

Ugly game from the personal foul penalties. After the long TD run by Taylor a fight broke out with 2 players getting ejected. Hoptown lost their Center Caleb Johnson.

Hoptown won the battle up front in the 2nd half and Joe Harris played well from his FB position.
