The Bears defeated Western 43-6 on Thursday, raising their record to 2-1. Fern Creek suffered their first loss of the season 29-0 at Central.

The Tigers then travel to face DeSales and Butler will play at Doss on 9/15. Fern Creek’s loss to Central was not expected. It will be interesting to see how the Creekers bounce back against Butler. The Bears appear to have their offense on the uptick and the defense has played well in 2017, with the only bump being the 28-27 loss to a very good DeSales team.
