Final from the Roy Kidd Bowl at Madison Central.

The game really shouldn't have been that close. The Knights were very sloppy on special teams. Set up Madison Central in great position for 2 of their scores. A lot to work on this week before a big game against Covington Catholic next week. Offense looked pretty solid.

Agreed, LexCath doubled up Madison Central in yards 508 to 253. The Knights were also stopped on the 1 yard line. Credit to Madison Central for hanging tough.

Two special team turnovers that lead to points for the other side will get you beat next week and in the playoffs but I still like this teams potential. Chalk it up to 1st game sloppiness.

Some stats. Beau Allen threw for 3 TDs and 381 yards.

Dameon Jones had 97 yards rushing and a TD.

Carson Brownell went over 100 yards receiving and had a TD catch.

Nathan Schurr also caught a touchdown.
