Scott Eaton former NKU AD released

Most of the athletic community, including myself who knew and worked with Scott Eaton, knew him to be a hard-working, reliable, athletic director and an honorable man.

Scott obviously had some weaknesses of the flesh, for which we all hope that he regrets, and will now take this second chance to make a productive life for himself.

I wish him the absolute best.

So the guy who launched the investigation and obviously put him in prison (Mearns) lives right down the road from Eaton in Ft Thomas. That is if he still can go back to that home. I wonder if they will cross paths outo walking their dogs anytime soon.

Let's see: He had affairs with five women/men at NKU, stole more than $311,000, cost the university another $200,000 to pay off Chrissy Soards, the compliance woman to not sue NKU for sexual harassment, and he deviously plotted the Kroger gift card stunt to knowingly steal money. Honorable? You have some deep issues if you call him honorable.

Maybe they can shop at Kroger together.

Boy, sure didn't serve much of his sentence.

Another example of the justice system in this country failing. Steal $311,000, get caught, cost NKU another $200,000 in a hush-hush payoff, and go free after just two years.

And not a word from you about his victims.

Still trying to figure out why this thread title, and why it is in High School basketball thread. He/it had nothing to do with Highlands basketball.

Easy. Just because he didn't mention the victims doesn't mean he doesn't wish them the best or have empathy.
