Doesn't bother me at all. This is a cartoon that rings true because of the current environment in our society. It sucks to be a cop right now and it sucks to be on the wrong end of a tragic incident involving a cop. Cops have a responsibility to serve and protect and like or not they will be put in situations where snap judgments are required. Some of those snap judgments will result in what looks like a cop getting away with murder. All we can hope for is that after a thorough investigation is completed is that justice is served.

Don't bother me either because it's the mindset right now.

Also

I don't let my kid pack his BB gun out in the street, in public, or park.. He shoots it in backyard.

The Rice kid was out in an area of other people and took the orange off that is supposed to distinguish it between an air soft gun and real gun, not that it may have mattered in that case considering how fast he was shot.

And to think all this cop hating and stuff was started with a drug head thief and his buddy who lied and the media bought it.

It's naive to believe this started in Ferguson.

No I'm not that naive but the Ferguson event is what kind of got the snowball rolling down the hill

As far as the cartoon goes, it is what it is.

I'm as pro gun as anyone but I don't see me ever getting a replica type gun for a grandchild in the future to "Play" with. As PP said, it just leads to too many snap decisions having to be made.

Several have already said it better than I could. It is reflective of current events. And as a parent or grandparent, I wouldn't purchase a toy that could even REMOTELY be mistaken for the real thing.
