Just like the last few meetings between Bullitt East and Mercy it ends in a 1 run game. Difference this time BE gets the W. First time in like 10 meetings BE is able to come out on top. SS blast a 2 run homer and BE holds on for the W. Is this BE getting that much better or is Mercy starting to fall back to its competition?

Probably a little of both. BE is a good young team - sophomore SS and freshman P stand out to me - but just looking at Mercy's record, they don't seem to be as strong as we're used to seeing. Looks like offense has been the main issue lately. All that matters is how they're playing in mid-May though.
