The final stanza was frantic with Male cutting the deficit from 17-7 to 17-13. Male recovered an onside kick after their fourth quarter touchdown to add a little excitement to the contest. A Male interception in the Trinity end zone by DB Zyan Bethel turned the Dawgs away late in the fourth quarter. Trinity RB Jovan Smith, with the help of his linemen, ran out the clock to preserve the victory.

Shamrocks Noah Hoffman, Barron Hoffman and Noah Ellison added important receptions. Jovel Smith hauled in a nice TD reception after QB Larry Harper III sidestepped a pair of would be tacklers. Jay Nunamaker added a valuable field goal in the first half.

 

The Trinity JVs play at Central next Monday at 5:30 and complete their season by hosting Archbishop Moeller at 11AM on November 1.
