The Bobcats traveled to Casey Co last Friday to take on the Rebels in another district game. The Bobcats started the game with a kickoff returned for a TD by Sophmore Treyton Humfleet for 92 yards.The Bobcats were led in rushing by SR Austin Caldwell with 12 carries for 73 yards and 2 TD's. JR Chase Woolum carried the ball 10 times for 65 yards. Bell rushed for 195 yards in 29 carries. JR Peyton Collet was 5-5 passing for 79 yards. Woolum completed on pass for 51 yards and a TD. Bell held Casey to 194 total yards. Humfleet set a school record with 2 kickoffs returned for Touchdowns in one game one for 92 and the other for 98 yards.

 

Bell County improved to 6-1 on the season with a 2-0 record in district play. Casey fell to 4-3 and 1-1 in the district. Bell County will be off this week and then travel to Corbin on October 17th to take on the Redhounds which should be for the district title.
