The Bobcats racked up 523 yards rushing against Whitley County on Friday. The Bobcats were led by SR. Running Back Austin Caldwell who rushed for 250 yards and 3 TDs on 15 carries. Also adding to that total were JR. Running Backs Chase Woolum and Cory Swanner who rushed for 108 and 98 respectively. Bell County score on its first 8 possession and ran the clock out on the 9th. For the second straight week the Bobcats score more than 41 points in the 1st half leading Whitley 45-13. Bell County's defense has also been back to their usual stingy self. Whitley County only had 75 yards rushing. Bell County lost SR. Safety Hayden Gilbert in the 2nd Qtr. to an injury to his arm and shoulder. He was sent to the University of Tennessee to repair his broken arm. Bell County will Travel this week to Middlesboro to face crosstown rival which beat the Bobcats last season 28-14 on Log Mountain.
