statmanhensley Posted March 8, 2006 Posted March 8, 2006 Wanted to get this thread started before tip-off. Game will run behind schedule a little bit because the McCreary Central/West Jessamine game went into overtime. You can listen to this game online at http://www.wrvk1460.com.
statmanhensley Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 Boyle County is controlling the boards in this LOW scoring game. With about 4 minutes remaining in the first quarter, Boyle County only leads 2-0.
statmanhensley Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 At the end of the first quarter, Boyle County leads 13-7. The Rebels size is giving the Rockets fits right now. Neither team is shooting the ball particularly well and Rockcastle County hasn't been able to get Colby Brown into the mix yet either.
statmanhensley Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 Timeout Boyle County. Colby Brown hit a 3 pointer right out of the quarter break and then makes a steal on the ensuing defensive series and dishs it to Kyle Mullins for the easy lay-up. Boyle now leads 13-12.
statmanhensley Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 Clay Carter is playing a tremendous game for the Rebels as they lead 17-14.
statmanhensley Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 Rockcastle County's defense is really good right now. Boyle's big man Staed has only TOUCHED the ball once but he scored on the play. Boyle County leads 23-19 after Carter makes two straight baskets.
statmanhensley Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 Halftime score...Rockcastle County 25 Boyle County 25. Weston Riddle and J.C. McClure are playing GREAT defense on Staed. Individual scoring coming up in a few.
statmanhensley Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 Scoring at the half: Boyle County Clay Carter 17 Seth Tamme 4 Brian Staed 2 Grant Tamme 2 Rockcastle County Kyle Mullins 9 Colby Brown 6 Weston Riddle 4 Coty Childress 4 J.C. McClure 2
statmanhensley Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 With a little over 1 minute left in the third, Boyle County leads 41-32.
statmanhensley Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 At the end of the 3rd quarter, Boyle County leads 41-32. Rockcastle County has come out FLAT this quarter and Boyle County is playing the style of ball they want. I give them credit for that.
statmanhensley Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 Boyle County pulled away in the second half. They lead HUGE with about a minute left.
statmanhensley Posted March 8, 2006 Author Posted March 8, 2006 McCreary Central defeated West Jessamine. I've started a thread on the game.
