Wanted to get this thread started before tip-off. Game will run behind schedule a little bit because the McCreary Central/West Jessamine game went into overtime.

Boyle County is controlling the boards in this LOW scoring game. With about 4 minutes remaining in the first quarter, Boyle County only leads 2-0.

At the end of the first quarter, Boyle County leads 13-7. The Rebels size is giving the Rockets fits right now. Neither team is shooting the ball particularly well and Rockcastle County hasn't been able to get Colby Brown into the mix yet either.

Timeout Boyle County. Colby Brown hit a 3 pointer right out of the quarter break and then makes a steal on the ensuing defensive series and dishs it to Kyle Mullins for the easy lay-up. Boyle now leads 13-12.

Clay Carter is playing a tremendous game for the Rebels as they lead 17-14.

Rockcastle County's defense is really good right now. Boyle's big man Staed has only TOUCHED the ball once but he scored on the play. Boyle County leads 23-19 after Carter makes two straight baskets.

At the end of the 3rd quarter, Boyle County leads 41-32. Rockcastle County has come out FLAT this quarter and Boyle County is playing the style of ball they want. I give them credit for that.
