After dropping a cold, ugly loss to Scott (2-1) on Monday the Colonels get back on a good foot against Conner this evening thanks to solid pitching by Oelling #7 and good team hitting.

 

After giving up 11 and 12 runs in their first two games and losing both the Colonels have given up 3, 2, and 2 respectively...the pitching is settling in and the bats are coming to life. :thumb:

 

Freshmen baseball in NKY is like the weather in March in the Ohio Valley, you never know what you're going to get!

 

Keep Conners catcher in thought and prayer. Looks like he may have broken a finger this evening.

The Conner catcher, Kyler Padgett, did in fact break his thumb at a play at the plate. Looks like he is out for 4 weeks.
