What a game! SHA jumped out to a 22-6 1st quarter, then held on for the win vs. Ballard. Ballard was led by 6'4" Tierra Banks with 28 pts and 16 rebs.. and Javonna Layfield with 12 pts and 10 rebs.

 

SHA's dynamic duo of Daijia Ruffin (21 pts, 7 rebs) and Raven Merriweather (16 pts, 5 rebs) paced the Valkyries.

 

 

Ballard is for real as they outrebounded Sacred Heart 46-17...

 

Key to the games was PG Ashley Johnson's defense forcing 10 TOs by Ballard PGs and gaining 7 steals.
