hrcarrier Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I didn't expect this at all and figured it would be much closer. The Breds definitely made a solid statement about who's best in their district.
KentuckyJoe Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I agree. Breds made a big statement today. Looks like they learned and improved a lot from playing a tough non district schedule and are ready to go.
JOHNDUNHOFT Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 This game was over at the half. NCC played very well and scored at will. Lloyd needs to practice tackling to many long gains on broken tackles. Like I said in updat thread #44 is a stud. Lloyd should of stayed with the running game as it was working early on for the Jugg's. NCC is going to be a tough team down the road and in the playoff's KUDO'S to NCC and staff. Jugg's are off next week and will need to regroup for a game against Newport in two week's at Lloyd. I hope the player's that went down for Lloyd will be ok. Now LLoyd lick your wounds and get back on the winning track. JD
Clyde Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 Nice year for the Juggs but this is exactly why I never thought they should be top 10 in NKY. NC's offense is not that strong. 37 years since Lloyd has beaten NC. Crazy number.
TAC Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 I was at that game. Nice statement for the breds. Who is 44?
mister cee Posted October 6, 2012 Posted October 6, 2012 #44 is Dylan Hayes. Sounds like he got a wake up call this week from Coach Eviston and his staff. Responded well. NCC is healthy finally and have played games to prepare for their district games & playoffs. Big game today from Mason Myers on offense. Kid runs hard and makes things happen. Very solid defensive effort led by! Brady Thacker. Newport next week for the firemans bell. Go Breds!

I guess not today. Also, Lloyd beat NewCath in 91
Lawnboy13 Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Sorry to those that I send updates to, I was at NKU all day for a softball tourney. http://nky.cincinnati.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/AB/20121006/SPT0302/310060073/

Also, Lloyd beat NewCath in 91 Really? Article said it was 36 yrs. said the Smith boys' dad was on the last team to beat them.
mexitucky Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 '91 w Jelani Brandon. I was waterboy that year, but I believe that I have that correct. From memory, they lost to Beechwood twice, Highlands in OT, Lloyd, and Holmes. Why I can't remember important stuff I will never know.
Voice of Reason Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Very impressive win for the Breds. I thought the Juggs would hang in there better for sure.
Lawnboy13 Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 Article from the Ky Post NewCath comes out strong against Lloyd
JOHNDUNHOFT Posted October 7, 2012 Posted October 7, 2012 (edited) I was coaching at Lloyd in 1991 when we were 10 and 2 lost to BW twice and beat NewCath. I also thought we beat them in 1995 will need to check on that one. Yes NewCath put it all together against Lloyd and played tough both ways. Beleive me this should not be a 3 and 4 team.
