  1. Im a big fan of the Panhandle Conference. This is a awesome Juco conference in Florida. It could be arguably be the one of the best confernce in the South as far as kids just gridin it out against one another, and wanting to get better and get to that next level.
  2. Ya the Witt kid is very very good! I think that the 11th region will be a tough one to predict, I like all the additional kids.
  3. Just wanted to see what some people thought about the 11th region this year and who they thought would carry their team to that short road to applebees... list name, school, and position in no order here is a couple... Michael Bushman HC (OF) J.T. Riddle W.H.(IF, P) Dalton Henzman LCA (OF) Shane Crain LCA (IF,P,C) Brandon Boling BS (P) Bobby Bolmer BS (P) Trever Gott TC (IF, P) Patrick Maronde LC (P) Devon Williams LC (IF,P) .... just some suggestions.. please list your opinions.
  4. I like your arguments bg.. I believe in the kids dreams, I think that it is awesome for a kid to dream to play for that one school they have dreamed about their whole life!... That's why I think the Juco is a very good route! I think that the Juco college route is highly frowned upon here in Kentucky! I think that if you go to a school that you can focus mainly upon baseball and not so much of a equal balance. That is good! This will allow you to get in the weight room more, focus on school but not as much as your top D1 schools. This in return will allow you to succeed on the feild.... Than after a year or two possibly, you will than be able to get a scholarship to that one school you have always wanted to go to. I think that if your not a freak of nature in any aspect, than the juco is for you, allows for alot of development in every area. Who knows maybe you might get drafted after that second year..
  5. However i do not believe Beechwood would dominate the 1A system.. jmo
  6. Lucas Witt. Also the Q.B. for the eagles.. and many of you know about his speed Dalton Henzman. just as fast as Witt, but with a much better arm.. throwing close to 90 from the OF... just saying sorry
  7. 11th region will not be run by Catholic again... jmo. They have lost to many key players and a Coach. Contenders will be, in no order. 1. Creek 2. LCA 3. Western Hills 4. Henry Clay (possible) Always very good! Herb is a good coach.
  8. Others I would also like to see.. No particular order 1.Lucas Witt-LCA(O.F)- Great speed(Sub 7), Good arm, great Lead-off. 2.Dalton Henzman-LCA(O.F.)- Great(Sub 7), Strongest arm I have seen (8 P.O. from the OF last year) Great Power. 3.Brandon Boling-Bryan Station(RHP) Great arm strength, variety of pitches, very effective..
  9. jmo... best OF'S in the State are at LCA
  10. I dont agree with this in any way.. sorry.. If kids want to be TRUE state champions than they have the real chance to be STATE champions by having 1 class... Small schools have kids that are really really good players, and just simply would be hindered by this system! if you are truly looking out for the best interests of the kids i believe that a Uniform class is the best way to have it! Allow me to further my opinion... look at Heath, they had Daniel Webb... look at LCA they had Robbie Ross, and so on.. most of these small schools don't have any issue with the competition aspect of things... Just like the earlier debate of Public/Private... These issues i believe will hinder the kids and not further their ability to excel in the sport that they love... Sometimes the best gain is a Loss!
  11. I Believe that with LCA returning 8 starters with alot of talent, they will be a force in the 11th region.... LCA will start 7 Seniors that will remember the loss to Catholic last year in the District tourny.. should be a great year for baseball in KY..
