  1. Mason Co. lost a tough one last night. They played very well, especially the starting pitcher, Trevor Taylor, who held a strong Clark Co. team to a 4-3 lead heading into the 7th. Unfortunately he ran out of gas in the 7th and walked the first 2 then surrendered the game winning hit. Not bad for a freshman starting on the mound for his first time this season. Both teams played great D with few errors, it was an exciting game to watch. Trevor pitched his heart out and thanks to the D, it was a great showing for him and the team.
  2. You dont have to give mine any credit, dont expect it from anyone from L.C., but the #'s dont lie, you will see in the next 3 years. Let me explain something to you Skate, playing in a couple of games in open gym in the summer doesnt mean you are grooming, and second, what is your definition of " working out"; working out to me is playing good comp. either with your own age or by playing up, and playing up doesnt mean anything, the freshman class at Mason will play just as good if not better comp than what the varsity will at Lewis, so what do you mean when you say it hasnt worked out, or may not work out, not every kid is going after a basketball scholarship (sp) but that doesnt mean playing in your own age group is considered a failure or not starting at a larger school is a failure, as long as it is the best thing for that kid. Ask yourself why these kids have left, and I know the answer to all 5, and its not because they were done Right at Lewis, so explain me why you think they left.
  3. Sorry, developed them into players, I think the parents have played the most part in their development. One day they will figure it out, its a shame because there are some really good kids there.
  4. If you think that those kids were molded by the coaches in that system you must not have sat at the practices, in all sports, and seen what really goes on. You are right though, they will be fine, but IMO calling them coaches and molders is a real reach.
  5. In the past 3 years they have lost their best 2 that are freshman now and just yesterday they lost their best 7th grader, all unhappy for some reason or another.
  6. Just wondered if anyone has any thoughts on why Lewis Co. is losing its best athletes to other schools.
  7. I think I know the people involved and I can tell you first hand that R4Life needs to worry about his own house and not what someone is doing with Their KIDS. Are you serious, is this something to talk about, a kid going to another school, which I might add is like going from a Pinto to a Benz. The school system the man works for is at the bottom of the barrell which is why I have taken my kid to another school. And second of all the man is not a teacher, but it sounds better doesnt it R4Life. Last I remembered the man is the one raising this kid along with his mother and who are we to say what a person should do with their kids, thats whats wrong with loosing systems, they worry about what could happen instead of fixing whats wrong.
