The stands were by no means full, but there was a healthy (and LOUD) Beechwood turnout. If not the 200 they were predicting, then close. A few Beechwood boys showed up with body paint and led some cheers.

Good question, Joe. I don't know the answer. The Ft. Mitchell soccer field is not marked, so that may explain why they've opted to have few games there!

UNC-5 read my last post: there are 18 girls from grades 9 - 12 on the JV roster. I've seen the roster and I've seen the girls practicing. I have no idea how many middle school girls play, because they are not playing with or practicing with the high school girls. Lots of girls in the pipeline, too. I saw the 5th and 6th grade rec teams practicing at Ft. Mitchell Park today. I won't try to guess how many were there, but there were enough girls to form 2 rec teams entirely of Beechwood girls.

The 18 girls are all 9 - 12 grade.

They have 18 girls on the roster, and their first game is Wednesday 8/20 at Bellevue at 5 pm. We're gonna have a good crowd of supporters! They have 10 games scheduled right now. Only 2 are home games, and those will be played at Ft. Mitchell Park.
