NCC press single handily won this tournament, this shows that defense really wins championships.

The Breds shot 46.7% from the field and only turned the ball over 5 times while forcing 23 Murray turnover. They finally played a clean game and shot the ball a lot better.

With bad weather moving into Richmond all EKU services have been shut down for tommorrow. Is there any talk about any of the game times being changed?

It was a nice run by Walton-Verona good luck the rest of the season.

Thoughts on tomorrows semi-final?

With about a minute left LCA was holding the ball then Barnette(sp) had a layup that was blocked. Greenwell proceeded to go down to the other end and make a 3 to make it a 1 point game. After a basket by LCA, Greenwell then made another deep 3 from about 5 feet behind the line to tie the game with 7.4 left. Owensboro catholic then called a time out which was very questionable because LCA had none left. But O-Cath got a steal at mid- court on the inbound and then hit a player (i think 34) underneath for a layup as time expired.

Nice win for the Breds, they really got in some foul trouble that hurt them in the first half. They really just could not get any offense going in the half court. But there defensive pressure was great and got them a lot of easy points. This was a very physical game, I though that Tabor played a fantastic game holding Mitchell to only 8 points.

This game was unreal,maybe one of the greatest finishes in the history of this tournament. The coaching decision to call the time out with 7.4 seconds left was a very interesting one, but it worked out.

Some good games on tap for tomorrow especially in the bottom half of the bracket.

They need to clean up the turnovers a little bit if they want to win it all.

Yes that would of been nice but hopefully the NCC Girls will make a deep run just like last year. They have a ton of experience and a fine team.

No it has been like that for awhile
