The Breds will start there state title defense against one of the best All A teams in the state. Who wins?

Campbell Co. is 12-0 but to be the best you must beat the best.

They play some good teams, they have played Ballard, Notre Dame, CAL, GRC(2). So its not like she is putting up these numbers against bad teams.

She is a great player, by the time her career is over she is going to be right up there in all time leading scorers.

First time I have seen NCC play this year and by the end of the year they are going to be very good. They can really shoot it from the outside and Kiernan is going to be a special player.

Was this game ever close?

For many of us from Newcath we can not make the 4 hour drive to Bowling Green, if it were still in Louisville you would have seen many more fans.

When is the first game the NCC website says it is Thursday Dec. 2 but the Khsaa website says Dec. 3 does anyone know when it really is?

Last time Newport beat NCC was 1999.

Last 3 years Newport has scored 16, 12, and 0 points and none of those games were really close. NCC 35 Newport 7

I expect NCC to be playing in Richmond once again but they will have to do something special to be holding the state title again.

NCC's long run at EKU will help them a lot they will not have to worry about adapting to the college floor since they have already played 4 games on a college floor.

I agree with you totally, I just didn't think that Courtney player as well for these 3 days as she normally does.

NCC must stay out of foul trouble, if they do i think they win by 5.

Courtney did not play great in this tournament she had 5 in the opener, 9 against HHS, and not sure how many tonight but not that many. I know that she is the leader for this team but there were 3 girls that played better than her over the 3 days and you can't select everyone.

This will be about the score in Bellevue's first regional game or maybe even worse. Congrats to Brittany Fryer on the Tournament MVP she really deserves it.

It looked like to me when the Breds came to the bench on a timeout with about 4 minutes to go that they looked absolutely drained. Could the lack of depth be catching up to them?

Brittany Fryer just gets better and better every game she does so much for this team and probably does not get the credit she deserves.

On a side note what a great run that the HHS seniors have had, sad that it has to come to an end here in districts.

NCC did not play well for much of the game and then they came out firing in the 4th quarter and built a pretty good lead. But Allen kept her team in it by making some big shots.

Breds will not win easy i do not think. Anytime these 2 teams square off it is always a dogfight.
