I really don’t know what your problem with me is, but you do you man. Tone is different than an insult. I was trying to have a civil discussion with you - I can tell from your several posts that this is not what you’re here for.
Just talking about the game. YOU wanted to call me out. Well, you got it. My view hasn't changed. Enjoy your evening.
I've made almost 17,000 posts on here. I'm glad you read them all.

Is A&M a better job than Virginia Tech?
Yes. The top 3 teams in the top 25 are in the ACC. The SEC is much improved but one good recruiting class still puts you in the top 4 in the league. And Texas A&M has money to burn.

You said UK folded. Implying that Kentucky is the reason Tennessee won. Tennessee is the reason Tennessee won.
And you’re out of bounds with your other crack. Completely uncalled for.
No. When you have that big of a lead and you spend more time flexing than playing basketball, you have folded. Tennessee didn't quit, they played until the end. UK quit when they went up 7 late.
I do not care if you like my tone or not.

I don't see it. If they do make it, They'll probably be somewhere around a 13-15 seed.
And you know so much more than the guys that make their living at this. Florida isn't even in the last 4 in.

Worst non call I've ever seen in my life. The officials should be fired.
Bad call. Not nearly the worst I've ever seen. Hyperbole runs rampant yet again on BGP.

I honestly thought UK would cakewalk through the SEC tournament. Just being a little arrogant with that comment. Haha
It's okay. We could all tell.

Tennessee won’t do much in the NCAA tournament as long as they don’t get SEC officials to work their games. Grant Williams is worth 15 points a game just from fouls that he commits that don’t get called and from foul shots he gets to take when he flops or throws his hands up to get the calls.
Enjoy it now Vols. This is the last year you will be relevant.
Good. Let the bitterness flow through you. UK folded down the stretch. The Vols are every bit as big a factor in the NCAA tournament as the Wildcats are.

The turnovers were the cause of the loss, but that game became unwatchable when the officials decided they needed to make their presence known. Swallow your whistles in big time basketball games.
But according to you, UK is still a #1 seed because conference tournaments don't matter, right?

Ha, that's one I wouldn't have ever guessed to hear as someone's favorite. Any particular reasons for her being yours?
She's absolutely fearless. The way she looked at Ramsey Bolton before the battle was classic. She looked at him like he was a bug. And when the Stark's came to her for help she sent all she had. She only had 62 men, but she sent them all.... and she personally led them.

Lyanna Mormont is my favorite.

So if a pitcher comes in with two outs in the bottom of the sixth inning and gets the first guy he faces out to end the inning, does he have to pitch to at least the first two batters in the bottom of the seventh inning? If so, what if his spot comes as a batter in the top of the seventh inning? Is the manager not allowed to pinch hit for him?I would assume they could hit for them.Yeah, I think the rule only applies within that half an inning. What they're trying to eliminate is the extra walks to the mound by the manager and the time it takes to have a reliever come in and do his warm up pitches.
The rule reads that there is a 3 batter minimum barring injury OR the end of the inning. So it would allow a pitcher to face one batter then he replaced at the beginning of the next inning.
-
As long as they dont get upset in their first game I think they’ll likely be a 1 seed regardless.
Even if Tennessee beats them in the semis? I'd love to hear your reasoning for that. UT would have a 2-1 advantage head to head and a better overall record.

LRCW gets his head set for game day. What's your pre-game music choice?
Beck, "Loser" of course. Gotta push the reverse psychology stuff to the limit. It always makes me nervous if he doesn't summon his mono before a UK game.

Jr. never made 30 million a year.
No. But he made $12.5 million when the team's total payroll was $54 million. Griffey was making 23% of the Reds payroll that year. Harper is making 8% of the Phillies this year....
-
A lot of money for a career .279 hitter with an OPS of exactly 9.
Ken Griffey Jr. ended up in Cooperstown with a career batting average of .284 and an OPS of .907. And Harper has the better OBP .388-.370.... and that OPS is 7th amongst active players.

Called this one from the get go. Took a little longer than I thought to get done.

I'm in. I rolled a 44.

Let's say they sign Harper also, do you think the Padres have any chance of making the playoffs? So basically if they also add Harper, their lineup would like
2B: Kinsler
SS: Machado
RF: Harper
1B: Hosmer
LF: Will Myers
CF: Manuel Margot
C: Mejia
3B : Ty France
Since adding Machado, I think the Padres are now predicted to win 80 games. Harper’s 2018 WAR was 1.3.
I still couldn’t see that lineup with Harper finishing higher than 3rd in the NL West.
They also have the best farm system in baseball. Those 2 are still young and should be productive as their prospects come up. And if Harper rebounds he's much more than a 1 WAR player. I still think he ends up with the Phillies.

Ehhhh. I can't get excited about this one. Just can't see him getting that many AB's, without there being an injury. You're not going to pinch hit for Votto or Suarez, and the outfield is already cramped to begin with. So, that leaves 2B. If he was a RH batter, you could maybe see a switch for Scooter in certain situations...but, not as another lefty.
If they only carry 12 position players as expected they'd only have Schebler as a lefty off the bench. Even if they go with 13 you figure Casali, Blandino, Trahan, Ervin, Schebler/Kemp and Dietrich are the candidates for the bench. Only Schebler and Dietrich are LHs.
-
Sounds like the Reds are going to sign Derek Dietrich. He'll be a good bat off the bench and can fill in all over the place if needed to cover a short term injury. He's not good defensively at any of them but he can play 2B, 1B, 3B, LF and RF. Solid pickup.

I watched this one as well. Very entertaining game. It was fun watching Spurrier back on the sidelines.

Nice win. UK was a much more physical team tonight. They looked like the team full of upperclassmen pushing around a bunch of freshmen. Hagans playing well made a world of difference.
