  1. Will be interesting to see how the extended time off treats him.
  2. And some have complained and criticized everything he’s done for the past 5-7 years so it all evens out....
  3. Joey Votto Tony Kornheiser Mike Tirico Chris Henry Dave Ramsey Chad Johnson Chris Jansen Cassadee Pope
  4. He’s had 6 all season. To say he does it most of the time is just blatantly false.
  5. Winker had a rough day yesterday and hasn’t been up to expectations this season but the guy is hitting .387 over the last 8 games, so let’s pump the brakes on the ridiculous talk of replacing a 25 year old dude that has done nothing but hit at every level he’s been at.
  6. Votto is now up to .253/.347. Has a 7 game hitting streak going and 5 straight multi-hit games, 3 of which are 3 hit games. He’s hitting .484 (15/31) during the streak.
  7. 1 Patriots SB 2 Reds WS 2 Kentucky basketball National Titles
  8. Votto 2-2 today and now 7 hits in the 3 game series. I’m sure everyone else is as shocked as I am that this hasn’t been brought up yet.
  9. Back to back multi-hit games from Votto. He loves playing the Cubs.
  10. The Order The Umbrella Academy The Society
  11. I believe The Order, The Umbrella Academy, Altered Carbon, and Mindhunters all have 2nd seasons in the works.
  12. They were entertaining. A bit hokey, but I enjoyed them.

  14. Over the last several weeks, while I’ve been home recovering from surgery, I’ve been able to watch a ton of Netflix. Thus far I’ve made it through: Altered Carbon The Order The Society Travelers The Umbrella Academy I’m about halfway through Mindhunters as well. What’s everyone’s favorite Netflix Original Series? I’ve been a big fan of Travelers and Altered Carbon and enjoyed the others. And of course there’s Stranger Things. Really feel like their original stuff is pretty solid and I didn’t think that before these recent weeks.
  15. Reds are now 22-19 since they’re abysmal first 10 days of the season.
  16. I feel the whole “emergency” situations can go both ways. If you have debt and all of a sudden you or your spouse lose your jobs it could definitely make making those payments much more difficult. Like Randy said, it’s a good discussion regardless of what side of the coin one falls.
  17. Just for an example, we’ve had roughly $15k in unforeseen expenses since the start of the year. We’ve been able to easily just cover them in cash because we don’t have monthly payments or owe people money, and have been putting money away for those instances. I’m not saying debt is horrible or awful or anything of the sort. I’m just saying IMO it’s not a wise decision to take it on if at all possible.
  18. About 5 months for us. We’re currently in the process of building exactly that sort of fund.
  19. How am I saving less? That $500 in car payments is instead an extra $500 a month I can invest in my retirement accounts.
  20. Again we’ll just have to agree to disagree. Outside of a mortgage, which you don’t need credit to get, what could I possibly ever have to borrow money for?
