Have you guys ever seen a player slide as much as Thiero?
His dunk was HARD though. I don't know if he played a minute after that.

Isn’t this the second time they’ve scored 90 on UK?
Yes, but that was an OT game. I haven't checked the stats out, but no way they shot a higher percentage then they shot tonight.
But I'll admit, the main culprit tonight is dribble drive defense. Either UKs defensive rotation is terrible or it's on the guards for getting beat on the 3 point line.
Either way, kudos to the Aggies. They mixed up their defensive sets, had the Cats flustered, and out muscled them.

No, none, nadda, zilch, not one bit of perimeter defense to stop the drive. Weak sauce perimeter play. Probably got out rebounded on the board, but it's hard to grab a rebound when you can't make the other team miss.
All that said, A&M will never be able to repeat that effort. They played way above their ceiling.

4 seed in the west or 5 in the Midwest

Cal should go small and press the rest of the way

Toast. Bad defense and this team got selfish all the sudden on offense. Not enough ball movement, dumb turnovers and poor post play is the story for this one.

Good for him. He's a hard working kid. Always up at NKU working on his game in the off season. Great kid with a great attitude.

The storms are now starting to fire up in central Indiana.
Just walked outside. It's warm and windy. Warmer than the day was. Can definitely hear the upper level winds howling. It feels like it's going to pop any minute. Location is Alexandria, KY.

If this weather came through in the evening with the conditions it's carrying for this early morning, it may have been catastrophic. Just imagine if the sun came out to enhance that daytime heating. I'm not saying we lucked out, but it seems it could be worse. Staying weather alert tonight.
Thanks for all the hard work, @nWo!

I've noticed more and more as the season has gone on. Teams are exposing that fact that Sheppard over helps and sags in the paint looking for steals and kicking out to his man for open threes.
Yep. Reed got burnt on that multiple times tonight.

Probably not too much... there's a reason they call'em sliders.

I hope not. My nephew is an assistant offensive line coach at Bama. I'd like to see him stay one more year.

Lol, apparently I think about chili on December 20th each year.
I haven't made chili since last winter. I've got to make a grocery store run today so I was thinking about buying stuff to make a batch. Anybody else gotten out their chili pot yet this year?Yeah, actually about two weeks ago I made a batch of chili. Actually cooked it on the the smoker. Turned out pretty good.

Bend but don't break, Cards!

Plummer just forced a ball to the endzone for an INT. Cards stopped then on defense. Let's go!

This one doesn't seem like too far of a stretch. I don't think anybody would be too surprised.

Agree. Cats had a nearly 8 minute spell early in the second half where I'm pretty sure we didn't run one set and looked selfish. That combined with the dumb fouls and careless turnovers was crushing.
Points off turnovers margin was 18 to 4 in favor of the Aggies.
