Curious on Coopers fgm vs fga? I’d guess Drauds % better then coopers.
I’d guess Cooper at 18 for 55 from the field.
So you don’t know??

What was Draud for the night 4-20 from the field??
-
Really pretty simple. Not rocket science heck I don’t even think you have to have a high school diploma.
-
You sure complain about officiating a lot. No dog in the fight here, but I’m sorry you can call a defensive foul on Cooper or CCH on close to every possession.
If so do a better job.

Do these officials get paid??

That play was an absolute joke. You are correct, Beechwood tried to foul the man, and they let it go on, but that was a charge.
It just never should have gotten to the charge.
Exactly. Plays like that all night!!
-
To be honest, Cooper got away with quite a few fouls on drives to the basket. The refs let a lot of contact go on tonight. The game was officiated right in Cooper's wheelhouse, and Beechwood still found a way to win.
Just like at the half Beechwood was trying to foul mugged Hampton but no foul call but then called a charge. It was a joke all night.

Well then 3 of the 12 fouls on Cooper we’re also intentional In order to stop the clock and put the Tigers at the free-throw line.
Yea I didn’t count those so 14.
-
Tigers fouled 7 times in the second half.
2 was in the final seconds on purpose then 1 in OT.
-
12-4 foul count in second half. Joke.

Beechwood has sold out of their ticket allotment. I had to go to Covington Catholic to get my pre sale tickets.
Cooper did also yesterday. Should be a packed game.
-
Should be a great semi finals game. IMO if Spencer shuts down Draud like he did in the first meeting Cooper should win. But if Beechwood gets Draud going early and he gets the rest of his team involved it could be a long night for the Jags.
I think Jags win 63-51

Very tough first rd game for Cooper.

Huge Sully guy and I KNOW it will be different now. That dude is so good at connecting with his players in a real and genuine way and knowing just how to get the most out of them. I LOVE the relationship he has with his current AND former players. So much about Sully to like and respect.
I agree. IMO best coach in the state!!

I should think this will change with the Regional Tournament coming up. Sully and Cooper have won a few district tournaments, and have won many, many games over the years in the regular season. Maybe its the whole, "Golden State Warrior" syndrome, in waiting for the real tournament to begin.
I’m a Sully and Cooper fan I sure hope you are correct.

Cooper is 10-2 in their last 12, with only losses to 2 really nice teams in Campbell County and Scott for a combined 9 points. What am I missing here?
Really hard to explain. Just not playing with the same legs or enthusiasm. Look tired not focused. Heck I don’t no just different.

It’s a rivalry in basketball and football with these two teams. These two will be tough next week. Conner May be a sleeper and Cooper is not playing to the level that they started with BUT both certainly have the potential to get to the finals of the region. Not a lot of focus these two right now with so much going on with BW, CCH, Newport and HHS. The draw will be extremely interesting.
Hopefully Cooper can get back to level they were playing at earlier in the season.

Toss up anyone can win it this year!!

Easy to figure out when you only have one guy consistently willing to shoot the ball outside of 10 feet! CCH size can be an issue at times, but they have major issues scoring outside of the paint. After having watched BW beat CCH twice, I’m still surprised at the way CCH was able to outmuscle Cooper in that 2nd half in Park Hills. Even more surprising after seeing how Cooper outmuscled Beechwood in Union.
One of the issues CCH has with the big lineup is staying in front of tough guards. There was a sequence in the 2nd half where Greene was guarding a much smaller guy. That guard drove to the middle and Greene’s hand was basically in his chest and called for fouls on both drives in about a 30 second span. He’s a freak athlete for sure but maybe not quick enough to stay in front of smaller, quicker guards.
If CCH is called for all the hands in the body, pushes and pulls of the jersey it changes the game. They get away with it most games, but sometimes they do not.
That’s how they beat Cooper in Park Hills they got away with it!

I’m sorry but Cooper does not look like they did early on.
