Excellent job as always Colonel. I missed on the trivia question as I thought Charles Hurt might have won Mr. Basketball in 1978 when he led Shelby to the title but Doug Schlomer won it that year.

In seeing that a 17 win Anderson had nobody in the top 15 players, I think shows the overall team concept they employed. I also think that Bryan Hyatt deserves an honorable mention in the Coach of the Year category.

Wild ending. Bearcat Tristan Staley scored on a nice 10 footer in the lane with 2.3 seconds to give them a 41-39 lead. After a couple of timeouts, Woodford drove the ball to half court and hit a banked in three but their coach had signaled for a timeout prior to the shot. Put 1.3 seconds back on the clock and Anderson’s Carson Wooldridge picked off a lob to the goal to seal the win.
