  1. 0-0 through one complete. McCracken strands leadoff. St. Xavier 123
  2. Well shucks, thank you Nostradamos!! I'll just tell my son to start working out for football since there is no hope. Glad to hear the preconceived favorite always wins, I guess someone forgot to tell St. Xavier before they played Greenup Co. I think we'll go ahead and show up anyway. Who knows? Well, besides you!
  3. Congratulations to Hazard. Great season 30-12 record, 2016 All A runner-up. 14th Region Champions 2 of last 3 years. Great run for 6 seniors with 2 juniors, and a young promising supporting cast coming back. Hope you continued success.

  5. In the postseason Camels have scored 78 runs. Their opponents 8!!! Absolutely Awesome gentlemen, keep it up.
  6. Camels faced some early adversity in this one, they go 123 in top the of first. Hazard's leadoff hitter hits a home run, and Hazard plates one more in their half of the first. Camels get one back in the top of the 2nd, on a BB to Walsh, single by Plessinger and a RBI FC by Hogan. After retiring the Bulldogs with no score in the 2nd, the Camels scored two runs to take the lead in the top of the third. The Camels then committed three consecutive errors allowing Hazard to tie the game. The normally solid D momentarily abandoned them, but at this key moment in the game this team did what all good teams do when a teammate makes a mistake! The next three plays the Camels picked up their teammates with outstanding plays. 1)failed bunt attempt ends in popup, 1 out 2)Hogan snares a hot liner off the turf, looks the runner on third back, and completes the play to first. 2 outs 3)on what I believe was a failed Squeeze attempt, a Reynolds to Hogan back to Reynolds Pickle play ends with out #3. The Camels had taken it on the chin, then in the gut, but responded in the top of the 4th with a BB to Eblin followed by an absolute missile by Kremer to straight on center which I believe hit the 401' marker on the wall. Ethan turn this into an RBI triple, but was cut down at home on the overthrow from center and the subsequent recovery by the Hazard catcher to throw him out at home. However, damage done because yet again another Camel in the Order had come through something these boys have been displaying every game. The Camels could have put chins to chest early and folded but their is some FIGHT in these Camels! They are on a mission. They Believe in each other and have their teammates back! 5th inning 8 batters 4 runs for the Camels, 8-3 Camels lead. Eblin relieves Hartig and retires the Bulldogs with no runs in the inning. 6th inning Camels send 10 Batters to the plate, and net 6 runs to send the score to 14-3! Eblin faces 5 Bulldog hitters retiring them with no runs. Camels win in 6. 14-3
