All State Baseball

KY 2A State Championship. 

Pirates had a 8-3 lead but Taylor battled back to tie it and force extra innings. Powell was able to push one across in the 8th to take a 9-8 lead. Taylor couldn’t get anything going in their half of the 8th. 

This is Taylor County’s 2nd loss. They are now 17-2. They have wins over Tates Creek, Madison Central, Lafayette and several others. 

Really big win for the Pirates, 14th region and 56th district. 

Dukes Jeremy Roach is transferring 

Just seen it on X. 

Onyseno just declared for draft and will hire an agent. 

I hope he has some things up his sleeve because recruits are dropping like flies.

I admit I was mad about the hire last night but everyone seems to be jumping on the Pope Express this morning so why not? It’s not the end of the world so what do we got to lose?

Y’all are crazy if you want Mark Pope as the next coach. Mitch couldn’t sell that hire to the ocean let alone BBN. That would be a complete revolt of BBN. 
 

I think it’s Billy D. His wife is on board. He’s expressed interest in the job this go around. I think (hope and pray) it’s him.
