  1. Final from Regents Hall.

I was in attendance at tonight's game. Although I have a child playing for Brossart, I spent time in Brooksville in the Bracken County School System. So, I quietly cheer for Bracken, when they are not playing Brossart. I thought Bracken played a good, competitive game against Paris. Several times they could have folded, but they charged back into it. Bracken would get close to taking a lead, but missed free throws seemed to be their Achilles heel. Especially in the 4th quarter. Austin Crawford is a very nice player. He has a great shot. The Cummins boy plays with a lot of passion and the Haight boy hit some timely shots. Those of us in the cheap seats were hoping Bracken could pull out a win. They had great fan support and would have made for a packed house on Wednesday. Good luck to Bracken, with the rest of their season.

  2. Jennings makes a Top 10 for the first time in his four year career.:banana::banana: I'm so excited, I feel a little faint. My eyes are moist. Is there a plaque? A trophy? A major award (leg lamp)?:banana::banana:

In all seriousness, that is very nice of you to recognize him. There are a lot of great players in the region, many of whom could make this list. This anonymous poster thanks you. :sssh: Have I mentioned that the Jennings kid is one of my favorite players to watch. :lol2:

  3. Futscher played one heck of a game for the Lady Stangs. Very nice player. This is a great group and one of the better BB Teams that I've witnessed over the years.

I was glad to see the Lady Camels having fun on the floor. Brandi Rice played a nice game for the Home Team. Good leader and what the Camels need right now. This group of players is not that far off of the mark. They hustle, have good Team speed, shoot well, and seem to have good chemistry. I saw no quit in this group. They are young and will continue to improve as the season progresses.

Kramer also impressed me for the Camels. Thought she handled the ball well, attacked the basket, and shot well from outside. I know there have been team issues and although I am not privy to what's been going on, but I would think that she would be an integral part of the development of the team.

  4. This wasn't a pretty game to watch, though the atmosphere was outstanding. The Brossart supporting cast (Jennings, Rieger, & Hackworth) was very impressive. The two big boys get most of the attention, and deservedly so, but tonight belonged to those three kids. Jennings was setting people up to score all night long. Hackworth was knocking down the 3-ball, & Rieger just does a little bit of everything.

Concerning Campbell...this was a totally different team than the one I saw play CovCath not all that long ago. Wilson played well & was probably the best player on the floor tonight, but he had little help. Camels had a lot of turnovers, missed layups, & just seemed out of sync on the offensive side all night long. It looked like they were playing their first game of the year. Both teams looked like that in the first half, but Brossart improved greatly in the 2nd half.

Heck of a crowd tonight. First time I've ever been to a Brossart/Campbell game & I hope it's not the last.

Nice comments, RP. It was a fun game. Great to have you in attendance.

  5. Must have strong legs to jump to that conclusion, my friend.

Had HHS been scoring 50+ in their other games then I would have agreed with my friend TAC. They hadn't, thus, I disagreed. I'm a fan of BB. If they can get better guard play in tough games they can make a big run.

I must have been reading too much between the lines. Thanks for clarifying, Clyde.
