  1. Almost 4 years on last post, so looking for fresh input. I've never been here and I don't drive by this place much, but when I do, the parking lot is packed all the time no matter what night. What's the attraction? What's so great about it?

    It has pretty good food and pretty decent beer prices and it doesn't have a lot of competition in the southern half of the county. They have TVs everywhere so it is a good spot to watch games.

    The big negative for me is the fact that it allows smoking on the bar side which still drifts over to the dinning area. Overall though it is a pretty solid sports bar.

  2. Just because that was your experience registering, does not mean you would be able to vote without proving your identity and residence. You would have to prove that in order to vote, per the OH Secretary of State's website.

    Ohio law requires that every voter, upon appearing at the polling place to vote on Election Day, must announce his or her full name and current address and provide proof of identity.

    The forms of identification that may be used by a voter who appears at a polling place to vote on Election Day include:

    An unexpired Ohio driver’s license or state identification card with present or former address so long as the voter’s present residential address is printed in the official list of registered voters for that precinct;

    A military identification;

    A photo identification that was issued by the United States government or the State of Ohio, that contains the voter’s name and current address and that has an expiration date that has not passed;

    An original or copy of a current utility bill with the voter’s name and present address;

    An original or copy of a current bank statement with the voter’s name and present address;

    An original or copy of a current government check with the voter’s name and present address;

    An original or copy of a current paycheck with the voter’s name and present address; or

    An original or copy of a current other government document (other than a notice of voter registration mailed by a board of elections) that shows the voter’s name and present address.

  3. SK has 87 kids signed up for their freshman team this year. A good group of kids from South Kenton, Twenhofel, and Summit View coupled with a 14-1 season and you have a lot of interest filtered into your program. From what I have heard this will be one of the most talented classes ever to roll into SK.

    The real shame is that only 86 of them are getting D-1 interest.

  4. My wife and I have a really hard time watching each other eat steak. She is disgusted by how mine looks (Med. Rare) and I am disgusted by watching her ruin a piece of meat (Well done). I have tried and tried to get her to try it medium or below and she cannot get past the look of the meat.

  5. Peyton's last roundup vs the new gungslinger in town will be the overriding story line of this one. Not a big fan of either team so I'll watch until half and call it a night again this year.

    I think it may be over by half time. I just don't think the Broncos can do enough on offense to keep up. The Panthers won't put up 49 like they did this week against Denver's D, but if they are up 2 scores at half it is over.

  6. The wife and I are watching, I think we are about half way through season one. Some of the imagery is pretty chilling and the scene where his truck breaks down and ashes from people being burned falling like snow was thought provoking. It is keeping our interest so far although the introduction of the bounty hunter was kind of corny but we will see where it goes.

  7. This is probably a rare occasion where both parties are in the right. He has a professional obligation to go into the locker room, rest, rehydrate, go over adjustments, etc. but as a Dad his first obligation is to his family. The organization rightfully fined him, but beyond that they could be over reacting. That being said if this guy wasn't a fan favorite the organization wouldn't be getting any flack from their response.
