Pike County Central names Robert Amis head coach

Per his Facebook.

Amis was hired as head coach at Breathitt County in 2015/16 and then resigned to take over at Eminence in 2017/18. He headed to Greenup County for 2018/19 and was suspended along with the assistant superintendent in late February 2020 after an issue regarding a player's eligibility. Amis resigned at Greenup in early March.

Prior to his head coaching career, Coach Amis was an assistant coach at Perry Central, Navarro Junior College (TX), Chipola Junior College (FL), and Trinity Valley Community College (TX).

I don’t think he was planning to leave Greenup so soon... and the Eminence gig, the great Jason Mayes of Ashland resigned before even coaching a game. So I’ll give him a pass.
