Sighting of high school basketball legends in the Louisville Highlands

How often do you go to a mid-week high school basketball game and run into two legendary coaches, winners of three state championships between them? At last night’s Fairdale at Collegiate game, former Fairdale coaches Stan Hardin and Lloyd “Pinky” Gardner were there in support of their Bulldogs. It was great to see them and talk high school basketball with them both. Unfortunately for them, Fairdale lost 69-66 in overtime in a very exciting game.
