Highlands 81 Newport Central Catholic 77 (OT)

Highlands overcomes a really good NCC team to win in overtime. I believe Vinson had 34 and Muller had 21. Not sure on NewCath stats but #23 and #15 had a heck of a game.

I don't think Sam came out of the game.

You are correct. Played every minute. It showed a little on a couple of the free throws he missed.

That is incredible. He has no weaknesses.

Anybody have the Number of Easy Baskets(Bunnies) HHS missed tonight? Free throws were not a Strong point tonight as well. NCC has a nice team.....

Birds were able to gut one out on the road. Nice effort by both teams. NCC looking like they are still getting their legs under them. Vinson is the real deal, but needs to get short rest here and there. Missed some free throws because of tired legs. Like what I saw out of Kyle Hunter, nothing flashy but gets things done.

Bunnies missed for sure and uncharacteristic free throw shooting for the birds. Vinson on an off night still could be many players career nights. Sam is just that good. Love the leadership!

Maybe after the Carlisle family builds the $5mil dollar football facility they will build or completely rehab the basketball facility.

Agreed. Both teams missed huge free throws that could have kept game from going into OT. Birds are really good. NCC is becoming very dangerous as the season progresses.

I hope so. The gym there is awful. Nice new floor but it's lipstick on a pig in that gym.
