GoHardITP
I saw the last game with Apollo and Fern Creek. Eli Wright got it going in 2nd half and really looked good. He is such a smooth player with his ability to either pull up and shoot or attack the rim. His 3 point shot also was falling. His shot was not falling in the first half, but he did not get frustrated or stop doing other things, he really impressed. The future is very bright for Fern Creek. The scrimmage was very competitive and as they neared the finish Fern Creek had a chance to tie it with a three pointer but Apollo held on. The three talented freshmen (Trey Hill CG, Ahmad Price G, & Anthony Wales PG) showed they are going to be ready sooner than later. Ahmad Price really had a nice scoring 2nd half of the scrimmage and Wales was poised for a freshman PG going toe to toe with Ben Moss from Apollo. GoHardITP
I did not see first hand, but everyone in the gym was saying how impressive Holman was for Owensboro. Blocking shots and hitting jumpers was what everyone was saying.
HoopDreamsCoachQ
Owensboro beat Eastern by 12. They played 2 20 minute halves with a running clock. Holman and Miller were really good. For Eastern, Trey Moses and Cameron Reed impressed. Apollo beat Fern Creek by 8. They played 4 ten minute quarters with a running clock most of the time. Very impressed by Ahmad Price. He's got to be the top kid in 2018 that I've seen. Eli Wright got it going in the second half. Once their shooters started hitting 3s, they stretched the lead out before a little Fern Creek run made it closer at the end. Bright future at Fern Creek. If they can develop bigs, they'll have a chance to be pretty good in 2 years. Have to see if the young kids can develop.

ApolloFan98
Great info. Thanks for sharing. Is Wayne Breeden still at Fern Creek??
devils advocate
Breeden is at Tates Creek I believe. And I think Eastern has the guy that was at Covington Holmes when they won it all.
