Holy Cross 11 Highlands 1

Recommended Posts

HHS started a Frosh at 2B, Sophomores at P (starter & reliever) & C, Juniors at 1B & SS, Seniors at 3B and in the OF.

Holy Cross pitched, caught and hit the ball better than HHS. That said, Coach Baioni has the program going in the right direction.

The JV squad had a nice comeback win against Holy Cross at the same time.

A very nice 2 out rally to take the lead. Joey Cochran had a nice bomb to left to keep it going (his second of the game) and pitched the 7th to get the save to boot. The JV birds defense is coming along nicely. Much improvement since the start of the season.

Agreed jpa. Those in the know can attest to what your message is. If Coach B can keep these young guys interested along with the current 8th grade class then they will be on their way. I feel bad for the few Srs on the team this yr and even next yrs Srs as the program is still 3 yrs away boys. Geez, I starting to sound like some old guy in a football thread. LOL. JK TOG.
