Does UofL's train wreck season take away from UK's win over them?

I enjoyed the UK/UL game in large part because I thought UK was really doing something by beating UofL but now I don't think that is the case. Does UofL's train wreck season take away from UK's win over them?

Yes it does a little bit for sure. Still a nice win to build on going into SEC play.

Yeah, but UK has plenty of opportunities to beat good teams. Not as big of a deal as if they didn't play other high ranked teams.

How can it not? Cats fans acted like they won a major bowl against a team that can't beat Syracuse at home...

It takes away a little bit but not a lot. At that point in time they were both undefeated and had everything to play for. I think it was a huge confidence boost but Lville as much as they would want to think isn't a Florida or LSU. Wins over a program like that would be monumental. Beating Louisville is kind of like beating Georgia or Tenn. Top 20 teams that are solid most of the time but not an elite.

If UK wins tonight and next week, the U of L game is long forgotten. Tonight is a bigger test than U of L was.
