Looks like this could help in the Darius Miller sweepstakes.

It would be great to land Miller. Maybe this guy can really help us out with that. And bring more to the table. I really don't know enough about him to talk about what kind of hire he is yet.

I can't imagine that this one coach is THE reason Miller is so high on the Illini.

I'm sure there's more than just this coach, but he was the main contact point for Miller and his family. While it doesn't knock the Illini out of the picture, it is certainly a big blow to their chances. He's been recruiting Miller for a long time...

Ever heard of "recruit speak." Very similar to "coach speak" and definitely the same concept.

While Illinois has been pretty good of late, it is still Illinois. I tend to agree with your statement, but you do have to consider that with who they were up against.

He lost two five stars. In the end that's what will determine his future. If the hire is just for Miller there is smoke and no fire...

I agree. Hopefully with BCG to back him up, those misses will turn into wins.
