UFC 75: Champion vs. Champion

If he can't beat Kongo, he sure doesn't want to get in the cage with the current LHW's in UFC.

He needs to start fighting or quit...instead of just walking around the cage and expecting everyone to serve their head up on a tee so he can try to kick it off.

I figured it was about time to put Mirko to rest...I'm not sure if I switched to that avatar before or after the Sanchez fight. He may be 0-2 since my switch...maybe he'll return to form now that I've taken him down.

Actually, it looks like my dog is about to shoot laser beams from his eyes...it looks like a video game when you're holding the button in gathering up power for your laser shot.

    Really?

The cage is a distinct advantage to heavier fighters, as in they get you there and clinch then proceed to beat the heck out of you, with a 6"4" guy like Congo those knees killed. I'm pretty sure CC came into the fight at 215, just 10 lbs out of LHW, one things is he would couldn't look worse

Who would own him in LHW?

No he couldn't look worse, so I'll agree with that.

Who would own him in LHW? Well, the way he's been fighting lately, I'd pick about any of the upper echelon.

Rampage, Henderson and Shogun for sure.

Liddell and Silva more than likely...

And, from what I've seen recently, I wouldn't be surprised if these guys beat him as well...

Houston Alexander, Tito Ortiz, Rashad Evans, Keith Jardine and maybe somebody else.

I really like Cro Cop. He's one of my favorites as well, but he just doesn't look like he even wants to be there when he's fighting. Sure, Kongo is bigger, but he's exactly the type of guy Cro Cop wanted to fight. Someone who wasn't going to take the fight to the mat and Mirko wasn't aggressive at all...he stalked around for the first round but threw hardly any strikes. He just isn't aggressive at all...and basically all you have to prepare for against him is the straight left punch, the left kick to the body and the high kick...if you're willing to eat that kick to the body you can use it to take him down, and once it's on the ground, he's helpless. But, he can't even outstrike his opponents lately...so why should I expect him to beat the elite fighers in UFC's LHW division?
