Midway through the second period, and Vancouver looks unstoppable defensively. They're having trouble scoring as well, but 1 goal may do it in any game this series.

Glad to see my jinx worked. Have I mentioned I hate Vancouver? Part of me is for them because it'd be nice to see Canada get a Cup again, but as a Colorado fan, I realllllly don't like them.

Blinked and this one was over. Nothing like waiting 20 minutes through intermission to have it ended 11 seconds into OT.

BTW, it's like the NHL found a way to further poke Boston in the eye for Burrows to be playing. 2 goals by a guy that absolutely should not have been allowed to play. Freaking biting a guy? Caught on camera and you let him play?

Absolutely agree. If Boston doesn't win tonight, this series won't go any longer than five games. If they get it together and put together a decent attack (maybe even -- gasp! -- a power play goal), then this could be a series. In the end, Boston has lost two road games on a goal with 18 seconds remaining and the other in OT. They have been in both games despite having an offensive gameplan that, at times, resembles youth soccer.

Boston is destroying Vancouver right now. Scoring on the power play and now scoring shorthanded.

I am stunned they've left Luongo out there to take this punishment.

I didn't get to see Game 3... I'm not happy about it.

Anyway, watching highlights this morning... Tim Thomas laying out Henrik Sedin was fantastic. As for the even bigger hit... that's definitely problematic. Absolutely smashing a guy, who doesn't have the puck, from the blind side in the open ice... you just can't do that. I'm one to let a lot of things go in hockey, but that's the kind of hit that doesn't belong in the playoffs. It would have been one thing if he had the puck, but there was no reason he would have expected a hit like that.

Update: Rome's been suspended for the remainder of the series. That seems an appropriate penalty.

This came back to me watching highlights. Luongo and all of Vancouver were abused by Boston last night. I'm curious to see how he rebounds after being left in to just take all that punishment.
