    NFL Offseason Moves

I seen DT Shaun Rogers signed with the Saints.

Marcus Stroud signed with the Patriots.

2 players the Bengals should pick up are DE Vernon Gholston who was waived today and S Donnie Whitmer.

I just love how teams dump salary after winning it all. Its like most organizations use that as the perfect time to cut pay instead of paying everybody what they deserve for helping you win a championship. Hate that for Hawk, but thats just the business, at least you got your ring, its nothing personal. No organization does it like the Marlins though, when they win one they really let em go.

Gholston is the only defensive end drafted in the top 10 to fail to record a single sack since the NFL started counting sacks in 1982. Could be a solid pickup.

He had a 9 mil bonus that was activated once he got a sack, forced fumble or fumble recovery. In 3 seasons he didn't get the bonus. Strong...

I saw that amazing. I think I could manage to fall on a fumble at some point in 3 years of football especially if I knew it was worth $9Mil.

Vernon Gholston is a HUGE bust. Why would you want him?

    That is an amazing post!
If it got down too it I would tell my teammates I would give them a mil if they could get me a sack, fumble or recovery! He never fit their scheme. I'm pretty sure he hadn't played a lot of ball before the NFL. I'll have to go back and read but I think he was a late bloomer.

He was, is, and will never be more than anything but a combine workout warrior.

Yea but maybe the Bengals can get him for nothing and he might turn out to be a good pass rusher in the 4-3.
