Let's not forget they had the best record in the NBA. The reason they played so well throughout the season was because they were healthy. Manu got hurt at the end of the season and that hurt them. Could they use another good player? Definitely. Rebuild? Not in my opinion. The Lakers are struggling against the Hornets, should they rebuild as well?

The Lakers are also coming off of two titles. When is the last time this group of Spurs did anything? They are too old and fragile.

2007. Yes they are old. But that doesn't mean they should rebuild. The players they have with another good player would be fine. They could use another pf or center IMO.

This is reminiscent of the Lakers/Rockets first round series from 2 years ago.
I stand by my prediction for the last month and a half that OKC will beat LA. I don't care if LA is on their game or not, OKC is the Lakers worst nightmare IMO. The only advantage LA has over them is in experience, but I think the Thunder make up for it in youth which has been tough for LA all season.

Perk was key in keeping LeBron and DWade away from the basket. Sorry but I don't think Jermaine O'Neal can do that. I think those two will run a layup line against the pathetic guys Boston plays at Center.

NO way IMO as far as Perk being overstated. There are not 5 better defensive big men in the league and the Celtics defense is based on a team concept rather than individual play. And they did beat up on Miami this season, all coming about 3 months ago or earlier. No way you think the Miami of December/January is the team of today right?

This series will majorly disappoint IMO. Boston has to take game 1 or 2.

CCC, do you think Miami will figure out how to win close games against Boston or they will beat them bad enough 4 times that it doesn't matter?

KD has put up some terrible numbers when Artest has been on him in the past. Everyone is very quick to jump on the hot team right now. Lakers needs to get out of the first round still.

    What Hammertime said.

If the Lakers are on their game they win the title and I don't see how that is debatable.

Easy. At the end of the day, I'll take talent over experience every single time. The Lakers, whether you'll admit it or not, are not the most talented team in the league.

I'll still take my chances on talent and come out ahead more often than not.

Really? Look at the past 10 years of NBA champs. Not even close to coming out ahead.

Look at this year. Talent is winning at an alarming rate. Not one team with superior talent is going to loss to a team with inferior talent. The most "experienced" team is getting laughed out of the playoffs, and the next most experienced team is in a dog fight with the least talented team in the post-season.

Last year what? 2 of the oldest teams in the NBA were in the Finals... Again. Sorry but you are way off here.
