I didn't live too far from where he went to high school in Ardmore, PA. Went to see him a few times, and he was the best high school basketball player I ever saw, and ended up being an all time great in the NBA. Such a crazy way to die.

    I haven't seen that anywhere.

I heard that, too. Praying that it is wrong.

That’s what I thought he said as well.

It was during the Pro Bowl and they had ABC news cut in about it.

All I've seen is that his wife was NOT on the helicopter. I haven't seen anything about the identities of the other 4 passengers.

There are several reports that the daughters were on board... If that’s true...

I’ve seen Rick Fox and his daughters on the helicopter online. That’d make 6 people. And that both he and Kobe are pilots? I’m sure we’ll find out by the end of the day who was on board?..

Having a really hard time processing this one. It's not making sense. Jordan was my guy but if I am being real, I truly grew up with Kobe.

Man. Hard to not think of @PurplePride92 and @HammerTime.

Kobe had so much more to give to the game of bball through coaching his beautiful daughters. My God be with them.

One of his clutchest performances was 2008 Olympics when defeated Spain for gold medal. Spain had cut lead to 2 and Kobe just took over. Hell of a performance that game.

Something symbolic about LeBron passing Kobe last night and he was wearing shoes honoring him. His final send off.

    Mamba 4 Life.
