Anyone see the article about travel from China to the US between January and March? Almost 800k. Almost 2 million from the UK and several hundred thousand from Italy and Spain. Our planet is very very fluid nowadays. That was just commercial air, doesn't include cruises or shipping of freight.

Not even factoring in the folks that are infected but have no symptoms.

I get that to an extent but Kentucky has followed Ohio almost step for step with social distancing. Yet their predicted peak is in around 13 days compared to Kentucky at 43. I was bored last night so I looked at every states prediction and only 3 or 4 had the peak predicted to be after April. Also I was relatively surprised at how many hospital beds Kentucky has available compared to other states with higher populations but less beds...

I'm not sure if I'm doing this right because I've avoided posting links for so long. But this seemed rather important and very fascinating. There is a drop down box that allows you to look at projections for each individual state and the nation as a whole. The data includes each states hospital bed availability as well as projected beds needed, the same for ICU bed and ventilators. The thing that seems strange to me is how/why the data seems...

My significant other works at St. Elizabeth Edgewood and she's shared the same concerns. She actually thought about getting a hotel room but that just seems over the top to me. If it's going to happen it's going to happen, might be a different story if we had kids to consider.

The only way that's feasible is if they have access to the tests with a short turn around time in the minutes. Otherwise it's just the same as everyone else. If you have symptoms, stay home.

But to what end? Do they test every day after a shift? Before returning to work?

And not just show symptoms but showing severe symptoms. I just watched a commercial from St. Elizabeth telling people with mild symptoms to self quarantine and stay home.

I'd be interested to see the next couple of days. Wouldn't be surprised if some of those big numbers jumps came from not being reported Saturday and Sunday. I recognize that means those numbers were still positive tests but I'm just looking at the one day jump.

If he ends up at Villanova or Notre Dame then wanting to be on the west coast was just a story. I am surprised to not see Gonzaga, Washington or USC on the list.

You will hear more in the coming weeks and months. Given the current climate due to Corona Virus things may run a little slower than usual. Commonwealth Attorney's office has made public statements regarding the case recently so I'd say this is just the beginning.

Kind of expected, we had zero testing taking place a few weeks ago. Start testing for something that's already here and the numbers are bound to soar. It's obviously still spreading at a decent clip but I think it was also here for a while beforehand.

Calipari said he is, of course, leaving the door open should Juzang decide he wants to stay at UK. Juzang and his family have said they want him back on the west coast. Looking at the roster for next year. Playing time could be just as hard to come by, if not harder. There's talk that Quickley and Hagan's could both be back next season. Only guard that seems to definitely be leaving is Maxey. Meanwhile you have three 5* guards coming in,...

I think the folks that have faced The Rona head on and are still around would disagree. The Rona has a strong offensive game though. You can't stop it, you can only hope to contain it.

Always have to wonder about folks that have all of the symptoms but test negative. Is it a false negative test? Or were they truly negative and just had something else. This is an event that will take years for all of the data to be analyzed and even then there will still be flaws in the numbers for one reason or another.

In terms of the US overtaking other countries in confirmed cases. It seems as if this is a hot topic right now for many, not so much for myself. What I would like to see though, is the number of people tested in each country vs number of confirmed cases. I know that the US was very slow out of the gates with testing however it also typically takes 3-5 days in a lot of places for results to come back. China's numbers, we just don't know...

After seeing what has happened in some cases where entire families are infected after gatherings or high numbers at church services etc, I think it would've been much worse. I for one would've been at those games or out watching somewhere. Instead I've barely left my house since March 13th. I've been to Kroger once, Remke twice and in the office very briefly twice. That's almost all I've done for two weeks. The only thing I'm really...

Which is interesting. Does that all fall on failed leadership or do the citizens there have to take some responsibility? I'm just not sure that half of us are staying home all day if we aren't forced to. Most have seemed to buy into eventually, it's just taken some time. Just not sure if a state like KY get's to where we are now without being forced to.

What's more interesting is the reason that was given. Apparently there's concern that non historical gun owners are buying them up as well as people who have not been trained. The guy calling the shots said that can lead to gun violence in the homes......

I didn't get it, the girl did. She's still knocking down some student loan debt so she didn't want to commit to a large monthly payment. She wanted an SUV with a panoramic sunroof, heated leather seats and heated steering wheel. She found all of that plus a lot more in her 2017 Nissan Rogue SL Premium Package. It's nice.

We went through the process today, wrapped it up around 4 pm. Dealer said that if the plates weren't available when the temp tags expire then they'll do whats necessary to get new ones reissued. Drivers license that were set to expire have automatically been given a 90 day extension, I would expect the same to happen with license plates.
