He put together a roster that beat: San Diego State, NC State, Iowa State, Baylor, Kansas (on the road), Texas and TCU, while dealing with having the recruiting restrictions brought on by BYU's code of conduct. He can put together a roster that can win at Kentucky. BYU had 6 Quad 1 wins last season, the same as UK.

Reds at Phillies (4/1 - 4/3)

It's been a very bad millennum thus far. But they are headed in the right direction with all this young talent. If their young pitchers can develop, they can have a great next decade. -
Past history has shown us, that generally, everyone that could possibly get drafted, even in the second round, will leave. A couple will transfer as well. It is generally safer to assume that no one will return, and be happily surprised when someone does. I'll be shocked if more than 3 players, that were part of the rotation down the stretch, return for next season.

The attendance actually ended up being listed as 44,030 which was only 569 people short of the all time record of 44,599. Great start to the season. -

Here's the worst thing for me about the current state of UK basketball: It just doesn't mean that much to me anymore. In the past, I used to really get bummed out when UK's season ended. I might not watch the next few days of the tournament, or even the rest of the tournament. Tonight, I resigned myself that the season was over with about 10 minutes to go in the game. It didn't really bother me at all, I have seen this picture too many times and was ready to turn the page and watch the rest of the games. I just didn't care. And that's a shame, because I really liked this team. But I just don't care enough to let it even bother me anymore. And I don't think I'm alone there. -

Due to low numbers. Hate to see this, but I expect it to happen more and more at small schools going forward. https://www.wnky.com/baseball-season-canceled-for-russellville-high-school/?fbclid=IwAR3R3VatLVGkHAxLXwFvtWfZqfbkCfTq9eCwgqabLKZHc3VVvK4eaGs02lQ

That kid seems to always come up but when they need him. He's just an average free throw shooter, and below average on both 2s and 3s from the field when you look at his overall percentages. But it seems like he never misses when DCA needs a big shot. He's a really gritty, clutch player, and really seems to be the heart of their team.

Pulaski County 71 Boyle County 44 (12th Region)

Kind of tough to call DCA a perennial region power, when, until this season, they had never BEEN, to a regional tournament. -
They looked great right out of the gate. Then for some reason they forgot Dut was on the team for awhile there. They looked much better on offense when they were running it through him. As great a coach as Rodney Woods is, and he's one of the best in the business, I felt like Wayne County botched their last possession in regulation and let DCA wiggle off of the hook. I understand running the clock down and calling timeout to set up the final play. But I felt like waiting until only 7 seconds remained was a mistake. DCA is just too good on defense. Once they forced the inbound to go into the back court there wasn't the to get a great look and a chance for a putback. Dumphord almost made an incredible shot, but I don't think that is how they saw that final play going. Great game to watch.
