  1. Not saying any of it is right but Roncalli had a big time cheap shot on the Elder QB at the end of the game. I don’t think the Elder coaches and players appreciated that.
  2. I understand completely what you are saying on this and I agree. However, it’s a little ironic that the Colonels didn’t do this when Elder had their backups in for the 4th quarter of week 1.
  3. I’ll take the Panthers. They beat CCH pretty good and the GCL has a tremendous amount of success in KY in general. I do think it will be a close game though.
  4. Agree to disagree. Granted St X is the team to beat. Elder has a schedule that is unmatched and will be a tough out come playoff time. Cov Cath will live to fight another day in NKY. They have some talented players for sure.
  5. Elder dominated the game. It was a methodical beat down. To say you were not overwhelmed is a bit disrespectful in my opinion.
  6. Didn’t Cincinnati Elder beat Louisville St. X 5-3 yesterday?
  7. Curious why do you ask? Do you disagree with the selections?
  8. I said this in an earlier post. I think a lot of that was a function of the game too. CCH was down about 8 going into the 4th quarter. They were forced to foul a lot since X was holding the ball.
  9. Like I said earlier, it's just my opinion. I never really like to talk about the officiating either way because there isn't anything you can do about it. I will say this....they are 2 great teams. CCH will make a long run in the State tournament I am sure, if not win it all.
  10. Yes, I did see it. I believe that was a function of the game too. CCH was down 8 points or so going into the 4th and had to foul a lot since X was holding the ball.
  11. Yes, I disagree on the officiating. It is more about the style of play to me. It's much more physical across the river for some reason. As a result, less fouls are called (both ways) in my opinion.
  12. Not a fan of blaming refs. 2 greats teams battled it out tonight. Great game.
  13. Stocks is an excellent player. Is he from a “feeder” school or did he come from a public school or Ohio? Just curious.....heck of a player.
