WV was without one of their top scorers and rebounders in the game. Woodford County has a really nice teams and made a outstanding comeback. Kid from Woodford was injured in the game. Hope he ended up being ok.

While I agree GC will bounce back let’s give some Credit to the Bearcats. Picked 15th out of 16th and they have two good wins. Coach Hester has things moving in a positive direction.

Back and forth game. GC got up early, WV charged back to take a 2 point lead at the end of 1. GC had a two point lead at half. WV had two starters go to the bench in the third in foul trouble and GC didn’t take advantage. McAllister was the spark in the first half but nobody else really outside of he and Rassmann did much scoring. Brandt Smithers was a scoring machine for WV. Everytime GC would take the lead Smithers would counter with a 3. Couple of costly TO’s for GC with the game at 6 points. Tough game.

Believe they only interviewed teachers. There were several para professionals that would have been great for this job. Good luck to whoever gets the opportunity.

Would be a great job for a coach that enjoys leading and coaching small schools. Its a perfect fit for some. A couple of coaches in the Independence area that I know would love this job.
