  1. Cooper advances in Region 9 after double OT and penalty kick shootout. Holy Cross put up a solid fight with outstanding defensive play. Goals by Cooper’s Philip Studer and Holy Cross’ Holden Lipscomb.
  2. Cooper wins their district championship. Goals by Griffin Shepherd, Mikey Knab, Nico Ross, and Phillip Studer. Hard fought game and congrats to both teams for a strong showing this season.
  3. Goals by Mikey Knab, Mason Smith, Philip Studer, and Werakul Srihasan.
  4. 1-1 in regulation. Cooper edged out Ryle during the 2nd round of PKs to break the tie.
  5. Cov Cath controlled the pace and play for a majority of the game with Cooper coming in as a clear underdog in this match. Cooper's men had to work hard defensively to manage this tie. Both teams played with a lot of heart and fire. Very impressed with how both teams battled last night.
  6. Yes sir. Need to get that "er" removed from his last name. Studer and Workman have helped ease some of the anxiety of the post-Adam Snow era.
  7. High intensity, hard fought game. Cov Cath scored first after a nicely placed corner kick (couldn't see or hear who scored). Cooper's Philip Studer answered later in the first half to tie things up.
  8. Oops, headline should say Cooper 6 Holy Cross 2.
  9. Cooper goals by Tanner Workman, Noah Bolte (2), Mikey Knab, Jaxon Rollins and Philip Studer. Holy Cross goals by Matthew Button and Zach Combs.
  10. Sophmore Mikey Knab moves away from the defensive post he held as a freshman on the 2016 varsity team with his first start in the midfield and gets his first career varsity goal and the team's first goal of 2017. Junior forward Philip Studer and senior forward Tanner Workman each followed with first half goals of their own. Cooper's goal keeper, junior Austin Boles, starts his second varsity season with a shutout.
  11. Cooper won 3-2 with PK. They actually won in regulation but the ref did not recognize what was clearly a goal. The ball actually caused the top net to move upwards....the only way that can happen is if the ball was in the goal. Still scratching my head on that one.
  12. Scott's freshman goal keeper looks like he will be a stellar addition. I caught the 2nd half against Cooper's freshman. That kid put on a great show.
  13. Never mind, I missed the news about the temporary lights that were recently installed.
  14. Dumb noob question.....where is this game? Is it at Cov Cath or off property?
  15. Adam snow - 5 goals. First half hat trick - all headers off of nicely placed corner kicks by Max Zorn (not sure if all three were from Zorn, I know he served up the first two for sure). Hard play to defend when executed so well.
